Shri. Suryan Subrahmanyan Bhattathirippad

Shri. Suryan Subrahmanyan Bhattathirippad is the present head of Suryakaladi Mana, a traditional Namboothiri Brahmin institution in Kerala associated with Vedic traditions, Mantra Shastra, Tantric practices, ritual disciplines and the worship of Lord Maha Ganapathy.

These traditions represent more than the transmission of knowledge. They involve practice, discipline, observance, responsibility and a lifelong commitment to preserving the wisdom received through Parampara.

Shri. Suryan Subrahmanyan Bhattathirippad was introduced to the disciplines preserved within his family lineage, including Vedic Traditions, Mantra Shastra, Tantric Kriyas, Ritual Practices, Temple Traditions and Spiritual Disciplines.

At the heart of this legacy is the Suryakaladi Mana tradition and the lineage of Shri. Suryan Subrahmanyan Bhattathirippad, whose life and learning reflect a continuing connection with Kerala's traditional knowledge systems.

A Tradition With An Inclusive Spirit

Preserving tradition with wisdom and dignity.

Tradition remains meaningful when its essential values are preserved with wisdom, dignity and responsibility.

The spiritual approach associated with Shri. Bhattathirippad seeks to create meaningful avenues for people from different communities to participate in certain traditional spiritual observances and pujas, while respecting the disciplines and framework of the Mana.

This reflects a broader principle of Sarvajanahita — the well-being of all.

VEDASURYA AYURVEDA embraces this spirit while remaining respectful of the distinct traditions from which its inspiration comes.
